Need Help?
Anyone can face a difficult time
Covid-19 has affected everyone in Brent, and across the UK, but people who have the fewest resources are struggling the most. Many of us are dipping into store cupboards, queuing outside shops or paying to have food delivered, but not everyone can do this.
Since the beginning of the lockdown, some members of our local community with less income, with health conditions or with friends and relatives in isolation are finding hard to feed themselves with nutritious meals.
Mutual Aid Food Willesden helps individuals and families in crisis through the provision of three days' emergency food supplies while a longer-term solution is developed. The services we provide show them how much the local community care and are giving them an important breathing space at a time of great need.
